Policy making, management and implementation are also comes under the rule of a government. In other words government is a ruling authority by a political party over country’s assets, natural resources, weapons, finances, and all tangible and intangible powers.
Usually, government gives a concept of nation-state with a meaning of sovereign state where it can exercise its authority independently according to the will of people. Government is responsible to protect civil rights in the form of security, religion, and culture. There are different types of governments who perform the same duties but the way they perform is different from each other. Every government has its own set pattern to run the system of country. Let’s discuss some of them:
The most popular president of America has truly defined the democracy as “Democracy is a form of government that is of the people, by the people and for the people”. In this type of government people elect their representatives through voting and give them rights to serve for the welfare of public. The set pattern of a democracy is explained by the constitution. All countries have their own different constitution which is formed keeping in view the religion, culture and ideology of people. It describes all powers of a governing authority. This form of government offers free market economy.
Communist GovernmentOne party system prevails in this form of Government. Karl Marx was the staunch supporter of this political system. This government offers a classless society. The rights for lower class are specially preserved and efforts are made to bring them up to the level of upper class. In any political government, economy becomes the backbone of the country, so in socialism all property is considered as public property. All assets are controlled by the central ruling authority. Making of economic policies and decision making are attached with the central government, not on the discretion of free market or traders.
MonarchyThis form of government is usually called as a Government of Inheritance. All powers to rule and to run the government are only lies with an individual. This authority to rule over a country transfers from father to son. The head of state is called as King or Queen. The King or Queen are superior to all and their decision carry credence over others managerial positions.
Many controversial point of views are found in this form of government. Dictatorship entails a forced government where the representative of state is not elected by the people’s will. Mostly, a dictator comes in to power by throwing the constitution at his back and controls the system of state forcefully. The dictator being the head of state controls all departments of country and enjoys complete hold on every aspect of government machinery. Usually, it is considered that dictator has unlimited powers to rule a state.
